With your donation, we can work together towards democracy and human rights in China, and towards the same around the world. TADC does not accept funding from government of any level in any country. We rely solely on donations from the general public. Donation will remain anonymous unless requested by you.
TADC in mid-December 2020 launched a fundraising campaign to support Hong Kongers seeking asylum in Canada. To donate into the fund, please use one of the following methods and specify “TADC Hong Kong Humanitarian Fund”.

TADC has completed the project to erect the Liu Xiaobo Empty Chair memorial. It is situated in Ottawa at the front lawn of Amnesty International. TADC continues to take donation to cover the shortfall of the project financial and to keep a reserve for future maintenance of the memorial. If you have a bank account in Canada, Interac e-Transfer is our preferred form of payment. Within your bank’s web banking app, bring up e-Transfer page and add our email address [email protected] as recipient. After that, you can transfer money to us using this recipient any time. e-Transfer is secure and convenient, and without processing fee on us.
NOTE: We have enabled auto-deposit into our TADC bank account. Your bank may still ask you to create a security question and answer when adding this email as a new recipient. If at the time of transfer that it does not display auto-deposit, cancel the transfer and verify the recipient email address you have entered.
We accept your donation from anywhere in the world through PayPal. PayPal can securely process payment from your credit or debit card as guest or from your personal PayPal account. On the PayPal donation page similar to the screenshot here, please select the option to add extra amount for PayPal processing fee that will be charged on us.
The PayPal button here will bring you to the PayPal page for donation in CAD. There is another PayPal web page to accept donation in USD. PayPal will charge you in your home currency with conversion to CAD/USD as necessary.
