Chow Hang-tung and Lee Cheuk-yan have been locked up in jail for more than 1000 days awaiting for the trial on charges of “inciting subversion of state power” under the draconian National Security Law in Hong Kong, for their roles in Hong Kong Alliance which has organized annual candlelight vigil in the past 30 years since 1990 to commemorate victims of the #1989TiananmenCrackdown. Such charges are blatant political persecution.
