The open letter, dated Nov 29 and prior to his trip to China, urged him to consider human rights and political prisoners together with trade relationship. A list of political prisoners who are, or have closed ties with, Canadian citizens was included for the PM. The letter was prepared by Amnesty International Canada which, as well as TADC, are two of the 15 organizations that make up the coalition.
