Winnie Ng, Chair of TADC, will be the moderator for the online seminar featuring:
- Brian Leung 梁繼平, an icon of Hong Kong’s anti-extradition movement after unmasking himself and reading a statement on behalf of protesters at the Legislative Council.
- Ken Moffatt, Jack Layton Chair at Ryerson University, whose research interests include creative resistance, the centrality of arts in global movements for transformative change, social justice and democracy
- Representative from Ontario Universities Hong Kong Awareness Group (ONUHKAG), a province-wide student-led group aimed to advocate for academic freedom and human rights particularly related to Hong Kong and other regions under CCP control.
- Representative from Ryerson Stands with Hong Kong (RUHK), a campus-based student group that seeks to raise awareness about Hong Kong’s democracy movement and the Chinese Communist Party’s oppression around the globe.
